Congratulation to our nine new Schools of Sanctuary
On 3rd July we celebrated nine new schools becoming a School of Sanctuary, a special status awarded for developing a culture of welcome, acceptance and support for those seeking safety.
The schools were presented with the certificate in recognition of their achievement at a presentation ceremony at County Hall.
Congratulations to: St Mary's Great Eccleston, St Wulstan's and St Edmund's, St Teresa's, St Mary's Catholic Academy, Holy Family Blackpool, St Kentigern's, Christ the King, St Cuthbert's Catholic Academy and Sacred Heart.
