The Pilgrims of Hope Jubilee day was launched here at Holy Family Blackpool today (Friday 24th January). We had the symbol drawn onto our entrance hall windows and a display made in school ready for today when we started the day with a special assembly. Every class wrote their own ideas for our Pilgrims of Hope pledge and our Governors will be doing the same at our FGB in February. We are going to have a jubilee disco on the 11th Feb and our student council has voted to do the 2025 BIG WALK again for Lent this year, however, we are aiming to walk the 1313 miles between us in total - the exact number of miles it would take us to walk from Holy Family to the Vatican! A true pilgrimage. There will be more to come no doubt!
