Welcome to the Annual BEBCMAT Sports festival. Here are the final details for the event. This is a wonderful opportunity for some of our children to come together and enjoy an afternoon of participating in a range of sporting activities.
We would like each school to make a mascot/flag that represents something about their school and bring it with you on the day. Can you please inform the Trust photographer of any children who are not permitted to have their photographs taken as we will be sharing photographs of the event across the Trust. All schools are responsible for their own risk assessments as they would for any off site event.
Can you please inform Amanda Stringer of your attendance at the event, and the number of adults who will be attending by Monday 7 July. Please contact Amanda Stringer if you have any difficulties with transport and we can see what we can do to facilitate.
In the event of extremely bad weather, a decision will be made at 10:00 on the morning of the event.
Timetable for the afternoon
- Schools to arrive for 12:00 mid-day to eat lunch in the stand. School staff to supervise.
- Staff are responsible for any medical inhalers, medications or care plans for their children.
- 12:25 – Welcome Parade! 2 children from each school with their mascot/flag.
- Events to start at 12.30pm - Promptly.
- The attached information identifies the starting event for each school and the order events are to be completed.
- Each event will be approximately 10-15 mins
- Children move on to their next station once instructed by AS via the Whistle and megaphone.
- The final race between the schools will be at 2:50 followed by the medal presentations
- Schools Depart approx. 3:15pm
