Claiming Reimbursement for Eye Tests
As part of our commitment to staff wellbeing and compliance with Display Screen Equipment (DSE) regulations, employees who regularly use computer screens for work are entitled to claim reimbursement for eye tests.
Eligibility
You may claim for an eye test if:
- You use a computer or screen for a significant part of your role.
- The test is recommended under DSE guidelines.
- The test is carried out by a qualified optician.
Reimbursement Details
- The Trust will reimburse the full cost of a standard eye test.
How to Claim
- Complete an Claim for reimbursement via Edupay in ‘expenses’.
- Attach a VAT receipt from the optician showing the cost of the eye test.
- Submit the claim for your line manager to approve.
- Approved claims will be paid in your next available salary payment.
Note: Claims must be submitted within 2 months of the date of the eye test. Late claims may be rejected.
