From 1st September 2025 NYES supports the Trust by offering a comprehensive suite of services designed to support schools in meeting their legal health and safety obligations, including:

Health and Safety Audits

• 3 site visits to assess compliance.
• Detailed reports with recommendations for improvement.

Policy and Documentation Support

• Access to model policies and procedures.
• Updates in line with legislation changes.

Training and CPD

• Access to online and in-person training for staff (please contact NYES to discuss any possible charges before booking)

Risk Assessment Guidance

• Templates and support for completing risk assessments.
• Specialist advice for complex or high-risk activities.

Telephone and Email Advice Line

• Unlimited access to qualified health and safety professionals.

Incident Support

• Guidance following accidents or near misses.
• Help with reporting under RIDDOR and other regulations.

Newsletter and Updates

• Regular bulletins with legal updates, best practices, and case studies.

Access to Online Portal

• A digital platform for managing health and safety documentation and training records.
